The team is led by Managing Director and Solicitor-Advocate, Stuart Munro. Stuart is an award-winning lawyer who is known for finding practical solutions for his clients and for taking a creative approach to achieve results. He is a leading figure in criminal and civil law in Scotland and is perhaps best known for his work in Whitehouse v. Chief Constable of Scotland 2020 SC 133, where he overturned the long-standing precedent relating to the Lord Advocate’s immunity from legal action, paving the way for the subsequent ‘Rangers litigation’. He has built a strong reputation and a high-profile client base mostly through word of mouth, with recommendations coming from counsel, judges, politicians, former clients, and fellow solicitors. Yes. You will be able to take steps to act on behalf of your mother if your mother grants a power of attorney in your favour.
