Iona is a Solicitor within the Personal Injury Team having joined Livingstone Brown in August 2025. Iona completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Aberdeen before completing the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at University of Glasgow. During her undergraduate studies, Iona volunteered providing advice and support to survivors at Rape Crisis Grampian. After completing her traineeship at one of the UK’s leading national personal injury practices, Iona qualified as Solicitor in 2023.

Iona advises clients on a range of Personal Injury claims from straightforward road traffic accidents to complex medical negligence claims. Iona has experience in dealing with cases in Sheriff Courts across Scotland and the All-Scotland Personal Injury Court. Since joining the firm, Iona regularly instructs Counsel within the Court of Session. Iona is committed to providing clear, compassionate, and practical legal advice at every stage of the claims process.

Iona has experience in handling complex and sensitive cases. She assists survivors of historic abuse in Scotland obtain compensation through the courts and the Scottish Redress Scheme. Iona is passionate about providing empathetic and compassionate support to her clients. Iona takes a client-focused approach, ensuring clients feel heard, supported, and informed throughout their case.

Iona is also a Notary Public.
