Judith is an Associate within the Personal Injury Team having joined Livingstone Brown in May 2022. Judith started as a legal assistant before commencing her traineeship is October 2022. She has progressed quickly to Associate upon qualifying.  

Judith is a graduate of University of Glasgow where she obtained a BA in Primary Education before moving to University of Strathclyde for her LLB. She also completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at University of Strathclyde.

Since joining the firm, Judith has been involved in many high-value medical negligence and historic abuse cases. She is experienced with Fatal Accident Inquiries, both mandatory and discretionary, acting for those who have lost their loved ones. Judith has experience in advising clients in sensitive areas of the law. Judith is very dedicated to her cases and provides her clients with all the information they need at every stage of proceedings. Judith regularly instructions Counsel and has experience in both Sheriff Court and Court of Session proceedings.

Judith also advises clients on the Scottish Government’s financial redress scheme for survivors of historic child abuse, as well as applications to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority.

Judith is a Notary Public.
