Murray McKelvie is a solicitor within the Family and Private Client team and is based in the Glasgow City office.

Murray joined the team in August 2023 following his qualification as a solicitor. Murray is a graduate of the University of Strathclyde, having attended to obtain both his Dual Qualifying Scots and English (Honours) LLB and the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice. It is during his studies of the latter that Murray discovered his aptitude and interest in private client matters.

Murray trained within a busy city centre law firm and has experience dealing with an array of private client matters, from advising on succession planning and the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney to the administration of both high and low value estates and advising beneficiaries in contentious estates.

Murray has a keen interest in estate matters and coupled with his personable and pragmatic approach and strong track record of client care and service, he is able to assist clients in the difficult period following bereavement.
