Rebecca graduated with First Class Honours from University of Aberdeen before completing the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at University of Edinburgh.

During her studies, Rebecca volunteered with the Aberdeen Law Project, representing individuals in property disputes on a pro bono basis. Through this experience, she developed a strong appreciation for the importance of clear and compassionate legal advice during challenging and personal circumstances, which inspired her to pursue a career in Family Law.

During her traineeship and since qualifying in August 2025, Rebecca has gained experience assisting clients with a range of family law matters, including divorce, child contact arrangements, separation, cohabitation and guardianships. She provides clients with practical, empathetic advice and supports them through each stage of the legal process with professionalism and understanding.

Rebecca regularly represents clients in Sheriff Courts across Scotland for a wide range of Family Law matters. She combines thorough preparation, attention to detail, and ability to guide clients through complex legal matters with confidence and reassurance.

Outside work, Rebecca has a keen interest in travelling and experiencing new cultures. She is an avid music lover and attends concerts and plays the guitar when she finds the time.
