Taylor is a solicitor within the Child Protection Team, having graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 2022. She practices in this area, principally dealing with children’s referral work both at court and at the children’s hearing. Taylor previously trained and practiced in family law, private client, criminal defence, immigration and child protection. She has a range of experience in dealing with these matters, representing clients from across all of Scotland.

Taylor aims to provide clear and compassionate advice to clients. She does so whilst maintaining a commitment to building relationships and providing the appropriate guidance to clients during difficult cases. Taylor brings an empathetic but measured approach to providing legal advice.

She has an interest in representing young adults and children, having dealt with vulnerable young persons placed in residential placements and secure units. Taylor frequently deals with adults with mental health difficulties and those who require a trauma-based approach. Taylor aims to focus on protecting the rights and welfare of children and families navigating complex legal challenges and state interference.
